Sansevieria ‘Moonshine’ – Silver Snake Plant

Sansevieria ‘Moonshine’ is recognized by its broad, upright leaves with pale green to silvery colouring that gives the plant an exceptionally luminous appearance. Its clean foliage and vertical habit fit particularly well into contemporary interiors.

Like other Sansevieria, it is resilient and undemanding, although good light helps preserve the distinctive pale colour of its foliage.

Light
Provide bright indirect light to help maintain its silvery colour. It tolerates lower light, but new leaves may gradually develop a deeper green tone.

Watering
Allow the potting mix to dry completely between waterings. Avoid excess moisture, which is one of the main risks for this plant.

Care
Grow in a very well-draining potting mix. Occasionally wipe the broad leaves to remove dust and rotate the pot as needed for balanced growth.

Good to know
The particularly pale colour of new leaves is characteristic of ‘Moonshine’ and may develop into a deeper green depending on growing conditions. It is toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
