Yucca gigantea – Yucca

With its woody trunk and long, slender leaves arranged in rosettes, Yucca instantly adds height and a striking architectural presence to an interior. Its structured growth makes it an excellent choice for bright spaces.

Light
Yucca thrives in bright light and can benefit from a few hours of direct sunlight. Good light encourages stronger growth and a more compact appearance.

Watering
Allow the soil to dry between waterings. Yucca tolerates slightly dry conditions much better than consistently wet soil. Reduce watering when growth slows, particularly during winter.

Care
Use well-draining soil and avoid leaving the roots sitting in water. Rotating the plant occasionally can also encourage more even growth when the main light source comes from one direction.

Good to know
Yucca may be available with one or several trunks and in different heights. Its overall appearance, height and number of growing heads may therefore vary from one plant to another and depending on the selected size. The decorative planter shown in the photos is not included. The plant is sold in its nursery pot.
